1. "Can I bring my buddy to my senior session?"
At Photography By Joel your buddy, one non-family member, is always welcome in your portrait session. We do several portraits of you and your buddy together. Our seniors and their friend not only enjoy sharing these buddy portraits with their friends but seniors include their buddy pictures in their senior folio as well.

2. "My session with the school photographer was so quick & rushed, do you spend more than a couple of minutes in the camera room with my senior portraits?"
Yes, instead of 5-10 minutes per session in the camera room, which is very typical of most school contract photographers, we spend from 30-45 minutes with each senior session. Also, instead of rushing in and out 40-50 sessions per day we photograph only four to five seniors each day. This way you will not only have more poses and set designs to choose from, your portraits will look better because you will look and feel relaxed instead of rushed.

3. "What if I have pimples on the day of my session, should I reschedule?"
No, it's not necessary at all, because we have excellent skilled technicians, who do incredible retouching services at Photography By Joel. 
They will make your portraits & skin look natural, 
not plastic or artificial looking like many studios 
that work with seniors.

4. "Do you offer different types of packages for seniors?"
Absolutely, we have packages in every price range from our humongous one that's in the $2,000. range to our smallest package which is in the $300. range and many packages in between. Or, you can create your own a la carte package & order anything that you want. 
The most important part is that you will receive Awesome Senior Portraits that you will be proud to share with your friends and family.

5. "Can I bring proofs home to show my family and friends?
Instead of small little proofs we offer a very exciting multi-media presentation that is viewed at the studio. Also, when your friends and family view your senior portraits we want these portraits showing you at Your Very Best: not images where your skin color might be either too yellow or green, or  unretouched portraits that still have blemishes.

6. "Joel, do I really need to make an appointment for my session or when I pick up my portraits?
Yes, Pleaseee give us a call first to make an appointment whether it's for your portrait session, viewing your images or when you're picking up your portraits. We want this to be the best session and experience possible at our portrait studio and quite frankly we want to be prepared and have everything just right for you. 

7. "Joel, I misplaced the directions to the studio, can you give me directions?

First, we have a brand new & beautiful studio located in a very lush and green office park in Westlake Village. The entire complex is called Westlake Village Industrial Park.

Take the #23 Freeway South to the 101 Freeway (East to Westlake) to Westlake Blvd. (make left on Westlake Blvd.) to Thousand Oaks Blvd. (make a right). Take Thousand Oaks Blvd. To Via Colinas (make a right) (If you pass Lindero Canyon you have gone too far).

We’re the 2nd driveway on the right hand side (Make a right). We’re the first building and suite on the Left hand side. (31368 Via Colinas, Unit #101)

Take 101 Freeway (East to Westlake) to Westlake Blvd. (make left on Westlake Blvd.) to Thousand Oaks Blvd. (make a right). Take Thousand Oaks Blvd. To Via Colinas (make a right) (If you pass Lindero Canyon you have gone too far).

We’re the 2nd driveway on the right hand side (Make a right). We’re the first building and suite on the Left hand side. (31368 Via Colinas, Unit #101)

Directions from Agoura, Calabasas and Los Angeles.

Take 101 Freeway (West to Westlake Village) to Lindero (make right on Lindereo) to Via Colinas (make a left).

Follow Via Colinas all the way around until (pass Las Rocas) you make a left at Westlake Village Industrial Park. (If you go to Thousand Oaks Blvd. you have gone two driveways on the left too far).

We’re the first building and suite on the Left hand side on the hill. (31368 Via Colinas, Unit #101)

Some Final Thoughts

We do not double or triple book our client’s appointments at the same time as many studios do, so please arrive on time or even five minutes earlier than your appointment. 8. "What if I'm unhappy with my portraits?"
